LPA Software Founder to Talk on Entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurship—The Good, The Bad and The Ugly will be discussed by Larry Peckham, founder of LPA Software Inc./XELUS Inc., at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 10, at Rochester Institute of Technology.

Peckham, who retired as chairman of XELUS in 1999, will address potential roadblocks and rewards related to starting and growing a business. His talk, sponsored by RIT's electrical, computer and telecommunications engineering technology department and High Tech Business Council, will be in the Building 70 auditorium on the RIT campus. Admission is free for members of High Tech Business Council and RIT faculty, staff and students; and $15 for non-members.

The talk is part of a monthlong celebration of RIT's 175th anniversary by RIT's College of Applied Science and Technology, the college of innovation.
