RIT Gannett Lecture Explores Justice in Afghanistan and Iraq, Oct. 28

Rochester Institute of Technology's Caroline Werner Gannett Lecture Series continues to explore globalization and human rights with a talk about the conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Scholar and author Brian Orend will give his talk, “Justice after War: Afghanistan and Iraq,” at 7:30 p.m., Oct. 28, in Webb Auditorium in the James E. Booth Building. The talk is free and open to the public.

Orend is an associate professor of philosophy and political science, and director of international studies at University of Waterloo in Canada, and author of Human Rights: Concept and Context.

A discussion will follow Orend's talk led by Edward Kannyo, visiting associate professor of political science in RIT's College of Liberal Arts, and Paul Grebinger, professor of anthropology, RIT Gannett lecturer and coordinator of Senior Seminar.
