RIT President Gives Students a Free Ride-To Class

It's a day off for most, but for RIT students Labor Day is the day the toiling begins. At least their university's president is right there with them, lending a helping hand. Or golf cart, in this case.

On Monday, Sept. 6, from 8:45 to 10 a.m., RIT President Albert Simone will offer students rides to class in his “Presidential Golf Cart.” An official welcome to campus, it gives students the unique opportunity to chat one-on-one with RIT's president.

The “Presidential Golf Cart” will travel along the quarter mile from the residence halls to the academic side of campus.
