Spring Juggle-In Celebrates 27th Year

One of the country’s largest regional and longest-running juggling festivals throws itself into its 27th consecutive year, May 7-9 at Rochester Institute of Technology.

Hosted by the RIT Juggling Club, the 27th Annual Spring Juggle-In offers an array of workshops and competitions including:

Friday, May 7:

  • 6-10 p.m.: open juggling in Clark Gymnasium

Saturday, May 8:
  • 10 a.m.-5 p.m.: open juggling in Clark Gymnasium

  • Noon-3 p.m.: juggling workshops on beginner club passing, ambidextrous club passing, Diabolo, intermediate ball juggling, applied site swap and balloon sculpting

  • 3:30 p.m.: juggling competitions in five ball endurance, quarter juggling, three ball blind juggling, three ball Simon says juggling and best trick

  • 8 p.m.: Mark Nizer performs in Ingle Auditorium in the Student Alumni Union. Tickets are $5 for students, children and seniors, $10 public.

Sunday, May 9:

  • 10 a.m.-3 p.m.: open juggling in Clark Auxiliary Gymnasium (behind main gym)

Except for Mark Nizer’s performance, all events are free and open to the public. Proceeds from the Juggle-in go to the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation. For more information, visit www.rit.edu/~jugwww/.
