RIT Gosnell Lecture Assesses Challenges to America’s Disability Programs, April 21

Obstacles facing disability programs in this country will be the focus of Rochester Institute of Technology’s final Gosnell Lecture of the academic year.

Scholar Kajal Lahiri will present “Recent Challenges to America’s Disability Programs” from 3 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 21, in the Xerox Auditorium in the Gleason Building.

Lahiri is a professor of economics, health policy and management and behavior at the University of Albany, State University of New York. He has published numerous papers on the economics of health and disability, econometric theory, applied econometrics and forecasting.

The lecture series—sponsored by the Arthur J. Gosnell Professor of Economics, Amit Batabyal, in RIT’s College of Liberal Arts—brings prominent scholars to campus throughout the year to give accessible, public talks.

A reception will immediately follow the event.
