RIT College of Business Expands “Accelerated 4+1” MBA Program

SUNY Potsdam agreement becomes the 20th of its kind at RIT

Rochester Institute of Technology and SUNY Potsdam are teaming up to offer students another way to earn a master’s degree in business administration. RIT’s College of Business has signed an agreement that expands its “accelerated 4+1” MBA program.

The accelerated 4+1 agreement allows undergraduate students studying business administration to complete specific foundational courses while attending SUNY Potsdam. Students who meet graduate business admission standards may then complete their MBA during one full academic year at RIT.

“RIT will now be able to offer its AACSB-accredited MBA program to a variety of SUNY Potsdam business students as an enhanced opportunity to achieve future career success,” says Thomas Hopkins, dean of RIT’s College of Business.

This agreement with SUNY Potsdam represents the 20th such agreement that RIT’s College of Business shares with other colleges and universities and with other RIT colleges and academic departments.

NOTE: RIT’s College of Business is recognized nationally as a leading provider of career-oriented business education, offering undergraduate and graduate level programs in accounting, finance, international business, management, management information systems, marketing, and photographic marketing management. U.S. News & World Report ranks RIT’s College of Business among the top undergraduate business programs in the country.
