RIT’s Love Day Brings Rochester City School Students to Campus, Feb. 12

Rochester Institute of Technology sponsors the 22nd anniversary of Love Day, 11:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 12. RIT created Love Day to share the pleasures of higher education and community service with young children from the Rochester community.

Fifth- and sixth-grade students from Rochester City elementary schools 4 and 37 will participate in activities sponsored by RIT’s Center for Campus Life.

After the children arrive on campus at 11:45 a.m., they will split up for small group activities with RIT students including arts and crafts, science experiments, computer design, face painting, and cookie baking. At 12:45 p.m., they will gather in the Fireside Lounge in the Student Alumni Union to enjoy cookies and cider and watch a juggler perform.
