RIT Student Government Hosts Super Bowl XXXVII Party

Biggest in RIT history and one of the largest in Rochester

Rochester Institute of Technology’s Student Government is hosting the biggest Super Bowl party in RIT history for the campus community.

With two gigantic screens and enough food for 1,000, it may be the largest Super Bowl Party in town. Additional televisions throughout the gym will display the match between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Oakland Raiders along with couches for students to enjoy the game in comfort.

The party begins on at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 26, in Clark Gymnasium.

The evening will also offer more than $2,000 in raffle giveaways including a Microsoft X-box system, DVD/VCR player, home entertainment system and a TV/VCR combo.

Lambda Alpha Upsilon fraternity, the Black Awareness Coordinating Committee, Greek Council, Residence Halls Association, National Technical Institute for the Deaf Student Congress, Off Campus Apartment Student Association, Global Union and the P.E.R.D.A Team are also sponsoring the event.
