An Introduction to Turkey at RIT, Nov. 3

In celebration of Turkish National Day, Rochester International Council (RIC), and the Center for Religious Life and International Student Services at Rochester Institute of Technology present "Introducing Turkey," a panel discussion by students from Turkey, Nov. 3. A dinner catered by Sinbad’s Mediterranean Cuisine will follow.

Turkish National Day (Oct. 29) honors the founding of the Republic of Turkey on Oct. 29, 1923.

The event, from 3 to 7 p.m. on Nov. 3, is in the Interfaith Chapel’s Skalny room on RIT’s campus.

The presentation and dinner are open to students, RIC members, and the public. It costs $8 for students and $10 for the public. Reservations and payment must be received by Oct. 30. Mail checks to Rochester International Council, 229 Morey Hall, University of Rochester, Rochester, N.Y., 14627.
