RIT Seeking Companies for Annual Capstone Project

Deadline to Participate is Oct. 26

Local companies will again have access to knowledgeable and ambitious teams of consultants—at no charge! Rochester Institute of Technology invites area businesses to take part in a Capstone Project sponsored by the Executive MBA program in RIT’s College of Business.

As the climax to two years of intense study, the Capstone Project provides graduate-level students an opportunity to put their training into action, assisting firms with critical business issues. RIT’s Executive MBA students are executives with significant professional experience who come from organizations serious about improving customer satisfaction, product quality and organizational productivity.

Participants in the most recent Capstone Project include IEC Electronics, Diamond Packaging, Lightnin, CJ Winter, Montego and Goulds Pumps. Issues addressed range from strategy and marketing to manufacturing and finance. The Capstone Project has become a critical feature in the success of the RIT Executive MBA program, which has produced 164 graduates since 1993.

Companies interested in taking part in RIT’s Capstone Project must contact the Executive MBA office at 475-7435 by Oct. 26. More information is available on the Internet at www.ritexecutive.com.
