FEIGEL AND JOHNCOX JOIN NTID

The National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID), a college of Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) has hired Donald J. Feigel, of Pittsford, as producer/videographer/editor in the Instructional Television (ITV) department, and Kathy A. Johncox, of Penfield, as a marketing communications specialist.

Feigel will direct, film, edit and produce videos that provide classroom or training support, and increase awareness about NTID programs and research. He brings to the job more than 15 years of production experience from various broadcast and corporate companies.

Johncox will help create and implement a marketing communications plan, and provide support for other NTID departments, such as admissions and employment. For the last 25 years, she worked for the Rochester Hearing and Speech Center in a variety of roles, including director of communications/marketing, and acting director of development and community relations coordinator. She served on the TV 13 News Closed Captioning Advisory Committee at NTID from 1988-1993 and the Al Sigl Center Public Relations Committee. Johncox earned a bachelor’s in English from Oswego State College.
