RIT Recruiting Applicants for Advanced Management Program

The workforce is full of bright and ambitious individuals, and Rochester Institute of Technology is grooming many of them to become the organizational leaders of tomorrow. RIT’s College of Business, nationally recognized for its outstanding degree programs, offers certificate-based training through its Advance Management Program (AMP), beginning Oct 29.

AMP meets the professional development needs of experienced middle- and upper-level managers from business and non-profit agencies. They have been identified as candidates for greater responsibility and leadership within their organizations and are sponsored in the program to broaden their management perspective.

Classes meet weekly on 16 consecutive Mondays and provide a broad-based business education that cover major business processes including accounting, finance, marketing and strategy. AMP also examines contemporary management issues such as leadership, e-commerce, e-business, and new business development.

Successful participants of the program earn a certificate in advanced management and acquire tools and personal skills to immediately apply on the job. Tuition is $5,500 per person, but discounts are offered to companies that send five or more employees.

Applications are being accepted through Oct. 12. To obtain a form or to receive additional information about AMP, call the office of executive programs at RIT’s College of Business at (716) 475-7435, or visit the Web site at www.ritexecutive.com.
