Kathy Hill, senior vice president and general manager of Cisco Systems Inc.ís Ethernet and Wireless Technology Group, will be the featured guest in the next installment of the Deanís Lecture Series, sponsored by Rochester Institute of Technologyís B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences.

Hill will present Leading the Experience as Technology Changes the World at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 30, in the Golisano College auditorium on the RIT campus. The free, public event will be followed by a reception.

Hill will discuss Cisco Systemís vision for the technology-enabled future. Ciscoís Internet Protocol-based (IP) solutions are used in business, education, government and home communications.

Hill began her career at Cisco in 1997. She is responsible for Ciscoís Ethernet Switching and Wireless LAN products and solutions across Enterprise, Small Medium Business and Metro Ethernet networks. She earned a bachelorís degree in mathematics from RIT in 1978.
