Graduates of RIT’s sister university will shadow employees at Corning Museum of Glass

Seven graduates of Rochester Institute of Technology’s sister university, American University in Kosovo, will be spending their summer in Corning, N.Y., training at the Corning Museum of Glass.

The students, who are members of American University in Kosovo’s first graduating class, arrived at Rochester International Airport June 5 and will spend the morning of June 6 at RIT before heading to Corning.

“This experience will allow our students in Kosovo to gain valuable knowledge from our country and return to their home region to share innovative ideas,” says Jim Myers, the director of RIT’s Center for Multidisciplinary Studies.

American University in Kosovo, which is located in Pristina, opened in 2003 and is operated by the American University in Kosovo Foundation and RIT’s Center for Multidisciplinary Studies.
