President Destler Launches Video Series to Reach RIT Family

RIT President Destler looking for feedback from the Community

President Destler wants feedback from the RIT community. What are your thoughts on creating an Innovation Festival at RIT? How about a corporate R&D center on campus?

Destler plans to share his ideas and engage the RIT family through a series of videos entitled “Conversations with President Destler.” The videos will be available to view on the Office of the president’s Website. He will also be visiting dozens of alumni chapters throughout the United States during the 2007-2008 academic year.

Destler became president of RIT on July 1. He is the ninth president in the university’s 178-year history. He was formerly senior vice president for academic affairs and provost of the University of Maryland at College Park.

    RIT Global students set to present at Imagine RIT

    Students from RIT’s global campuses will be making the trek to the U.S. for this year’s Imagine RIT: Creativity and Innovation Festival. Teams from all of RIT's global campuses will be presenting their exhibits in the Gordon Field House; this is the second year that students from global campuses will be attending the festival in person.
