RIT Music Program Performs During RIT’s Brick City Weekend

The Rochester Institute of Technology Music Program will present a Kaleidoscope Concert for RIT’s Brick City Weekend from 3:30-5:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 6, in Ingle Auditorium in the Student Alumni Union.
The concert—free and open to the public—will include performances by the RIT Singers, RIT Concert Band, RIT Jazz Ensembles, and a cappella groups Surround Sound, Encore, Brick City Singers and Eight Beat Measure. Also performing will be RIT World Music Ensemble, featuring Agbekor African drums, and Latin American folk music ensemble, Son del la Tierra.
The groups will perform a variety of music ranging from traditional Kenyan arrangements to songs by Bill Whelan and Cole Porter.
