RIT Sponsors Unique Engineering Challenge for Middle School Girls
Program seeks to enhance understanding and enthusiasm for the discipline

The Kate Gleason College of Engineering at Rochester Institute of Technology will host Amusement Park Design: Pre-Engineering Program for Middle School Girls Saturday, Oct. 20, and Sunday, Oct. 21, on the RIT campus.
The event features teams of students who will utilize Lego robotics kits to design and build amusement park-inspired projects and will culminate with demonstrations for parents on Sunday. RIT professors and engineering students will also participate, assisting individual teams and providing overall instruction on engineering and design basics.
