President and CEO of Phantom Chef to Speak at RIT Jan. 31

Personal chef Mary Lynn Vickers will offer tips on how to run a successful company

Mary Lynn Vickers, chief executive officer of the Phantom Chef personal chef service, will present “Becoming the CEO of Your Life—Creating Your Preferred Future” at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, at Rochester Institute of Technology. The talk is part of the Kate Gleason College of Engineering 2007-2008 Dean’s Alumni Speaker Series.

Vickers, who holds a bachelor’s degree in statistical quality from RIT, will discuss how to develop your professional identity while also finding personal and professional fulfillment. She has owned and operated the Phantom Chef, Rochester’s first personal chef service, since 2001 and was awarded the 212˚ Fahrenheit Marketer of the Year Award by the U.S. Personal Chef Association in 2006.
