RIT Hosts Monroe County Math League All-Star Competition, March 4

Approximately 650 students expected to compete

Rochester Institute of Technology’s School of Mathematical Sciences will host the Monroe County Math League All-Star Competition on Tuesday, March 4, for the seventh consecutive year.

Approximately 650 high-school students from more than 35 school districts are expected to attend the daylong event. Small-scale mathematics competitions will be held at various sites on campus throughout the day. The winners will advance to higher levels of competition and meet in a final round in the afternoon.

The closing competition and ceremony will start at approximately 2:45 p.m. in Ingle Auditorium in RIT’s Student Alumni Union. The top competitors from this event will attend the upcoming state level competition.
