SUBJECT: Condolences to Northern Illinois University and notice of RIT Alert test
On behalf of Rochester Institute of Technology, I offer our deepest condolences and sympathies to the Northern Illinois University community and, in particular, to the family of the victims. We are deeply saddened by the horrific events of Feb. 14, and we grieve for the victims’ families and friends.
At RIT, we strive to ensure a safe and secure environment for all our students, faculty and staff. Later this week, as part of a pre-scheduled test, RIT will activate its emergency mass notification system, RIT Alert.
