Director of Science and Technology for Taiwan Embassy to speak at RIT
Hsin-Hsiung Chang will give keynote address at RIT alternative energy symposium

Hsin-Hsiung Chang, director of science and technology for the Taiwan Embassy in Washington, D.C., will give the keynote address at the 2008 Symposium on Alternative Energy, sponsored by the upstate New York chapter of the Taiwanese American Industrial Technology Association. The event, co-hosted by Rochester Institute of Technology, will be held 2:30 to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 1, in RIT’s Xerox Auditorium.
Chang, scheduled to speak at 3 p.m., will discuss current science and technology development in Taiwan and further opportunities for U.S.-Taiwanese collaboration. In addition, David Wu, professor of chemical engineering at the University of Rochester, and Yeh-Hung Lai of General Motors’ Fuel Cell Research Lab will also present on their research in biofuels and fuel cells as part of the day’s activities.
