The continued development of our next generation of engineers, scientists and innovators will be based in part on society’s ability to create an enthusiasm for these subjects among today’s elementary school students. This is the goal of the 2008 Engineering, Exploration and Experimentation Technology Fair, an interactive series of exhibits and hands on presentations related to engineering and science.
The event, co-sponsored by the Rochester Engineering Society and Rochester Institute of Technology, will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, April 24, in the Clark Gymnasium on the RIT campus. The fair, founded in 1991, currently attracts more than1,000 students and families from across the region.
