RIT Film Students Show Off Their Best Works, May 25

RIT’s School of Film and Animation Student Honors Show takes place at the Dryden Theatre

Student filmmakers from Rochester Institute of Technology will soon be in the cinematic spotlight.

RIT’s School of Film and Animation presents its annual Student Honors Show from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 25, at the Dryden Theatre, George Eastman House, 900 East Ave., Rochester.

First-year students through graduate students in RIT’s School of Film and Animation submit hundreds of films for consideration for the annual Honors Show. A committee comprised of the school’s faculty and students selects 20 films from more than 500 entries. The students’ films are of various genres including narrative, documentary, experimental and animation (2-D, 3-D and stop-motion).

The public is invited to attend. Admission is $5, students with ID are admitted for free.
