An RIT alumnus has given two digital cameras to his alma mater on behalf of his company. Peter Aronson ’74 (photography), director of sales-Photo Channel, Casio America Inc., donated two Casio EX-F1 cameras to RIT’s School of Photographic Arts and Sciences. The six-megapixel digital cameras, valued at $1,000 a piece, are capable of shooting 60 frames per second still photos and ultra high-speed video, up to 1200 frames per second. Aronson visited campus on Friday, Nov. 7, and presented the cameras to Therese Mulligan, administrative chair of photographic arts, RIT School of Photographic Arts and Sciences. All of the school’s 700 students will be able to use the cameras.
