College of Liberal Arts Hosts Minor and Concentration Fair

RIT students who are interested in adding a minor to their degree program or declaring a concentration can learn more about offerings in the College of Liberal Arts at its upcoming Minor and Concentration Fair.

The event, to be held from11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23, in Clark Gym, will feature displays and presentations on over 40 minors and concentrations in diverse subjects such as political science, psychology and foreign language. Faculty members representing each minor and concentration will be available to provide additional information and to assist students in deciding whether a particular subject matches their interests and academic goals. Staff advisors will also be available to assist students in declaring a concentration or minor.

“This fair provides all RIT students with the opportunity to learn more about the academic options offered through the College of Liberal Arts,” notes Jonathan Ntheketha, an academic advisor with the college. “Choosing the right minor or concentration can help students compliment their academic program or offer the opportunity to further develop academically in another field of interest.”
