Rochester Institute of Technology’s Triangle fraternity and Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority will push a bed 23-miles, from RIT to Chili’s Black Creek Park, to raise money for the American Diabetes Association.
The event kicks off at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 18, on RIT’s Quarter Mile, just to the west of the Student Alumni Union. At approximately 9:30 a.m., the group will push its custom-built bed through campus and out onto East River Road to begin the journey to Black Creek Park.
“This event is a time-honored tradition,” says Tom Otis, Triangle fraternity’s philanthropy chair. “It is a great time supporting a cause we all so firmly believe in.”
