Economist Ray Huffaker Presents Next Gosnell Lecture at RIT
University of Florida professor is expert in agricultural economics and policy

Ray Huffaker, professor and chair of the Department of Food and Resource Economics at the University of Florida, will present the next Arthur Gosnell Lecture, at 2 p.m. this Wednesday at Rochester Institute of Technology.
He will discuss his research in bioeconomic modeling and natural resource law and policy, while also offering advice to current students on how to develop and conduct research projects. The event is free and open to the public and will be followed by a reception.
Huffaker served as president of the Western Agricultural Economics Association in 2003, as associate editor of the Journal of Agricultural and Resource Economics from 1994 to 2003 and earned the U.S. Department of Energy’s Ames Laboratory Computational Science Award in 1994.
