Authors: Tina Olsin Lent, Becky Simmons and Donna Rubin

This volume is the result of a yearlong joint effort of the Women’s and Gender Studies Program, the University Archivist and the director of the RIT Women’s Center to explore and highlight the roles women have played on the RIT campus since 1885. In order to avoid losing this rich history, the authors collected the works to “ensure its prolonged existence and extend its influence.” Gathered here are student papers and projects as well as explorations of influential women at RIT and the unique history of RIT’s role in educating women.
