One Saturday each spring, RIT swings its doors open to the community to experience the Imagine RIT: Innovation and Creativity Festival. People of all ages are amazed by the hundreds of interactive exhibits, hands-on demonstrations and live performances they encounter.

When the visitors leave, however, that innovative and creative spirit doesn’t merely get bottled and stored on a shelf. It thrives all year long. It can be seen everyday in RIT’s Center for Student Innovation. It is evident in student clubs such as the MAKE club and the Student Environmental Action League, and in student projects (see pages 7-8). And it’s increasingly becoming the focus of RIT’s academic curriculum .
