Performances showcase members of Unity House campus special interest house

TV personality Fonzworth Bentley will emcee this year’s Unity House Tribute event on Feb. 10.

Fonzworth Bentley will emcee this year’s Unity House Tribute event at Rochester Institute of Technology. The musician, author and TV personality will open the annual cultural showcase at 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, in Ingle Auditorium in RIT’s Student Alumni Union.

Unity House is one of several affinity organizations at RIT, part of the university’s residential community and its Student Government. The group provides an atmosphere that promotes diversity and cultural awareness though through social and academic activities.

“Our Tribute event is pretty much a showcase of all the talents of Unity House and our affiliates. This includes a student written, directed and performed play; step performances; Greek performances; poetry; dance; and much, much more,” says Olivia Harrison, publicity director for the organization.

The Tribute event is free and open to students, faculty and staff as well as the general public. For more information about Tribute, contact Harrison at unitywww@gmail.com.
