Free tax preparation help from RIT students

Nearby services will be available at the C.A.S.H. Super Site in South Town Plaza

Students from the E. Philip Saunders College of Business are volunteering their services at C.A.S.H. (Creating Assets, Savings, and Hope) Super Site locations across Monroe County for the 2013 tax season.

Students from the E. Philip Saunders College of Business are joining other RIT students across campus to volunteer their services at C.A.S.H. (Creating Assets, Savings, and Hope) Super Site locations across Monroe County for the 2013 tax season.

C.A.S.H. is offering free federal and New York state return preparation and e-filing for any household making less than $40,000.

Nearby services will be available at the C.A.S.H. Coalition Super Site at South Town Plaza, (next to Dollar Tree), 3333 West Henrietta Road. Other locations are at the Sibley Building downtown, 228 E. Main St., second floor near the escalator, and Ridge Goodman Plaza, Irondequoit, (near Marshalls and Super Buffet), 1381 E. Ridge Road.

Hours are 2 to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 2 to 5 p.m. Friday, and 9 to 5 p.m. Saturday. Appointments are encouraged and can be made by calling 585-242-6485.
