RIT’s National Press Photographers Association chapter is hosting the 12th annual “What We Do” photojournalism competition.

Lectures will be held at 7 p.m. on March 15 in the Neblette Conference Room, room 110, in Frank E. Gannett Hall. Judging takes place the following day, March 16, also at 7 p.m. The events are free and open to the public.

Winners will be recognized by a public exhibition of their work and prizes donated by corporate and private sponsors, including Nikon Professional Services.

The lectures and judging are to be performed by RIT photojournalism alumni Aristide Economopoulos, staff photojournalist at the Star-Ledger; Alexandra C. Daley-Clark, a freelance wedding, portrait and editorial photographer and editor; and Seth Gitner, an assistant professor in the newspaper and online journalism department at the S. I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
