Tona Henderson has been named director of RIT’s School of Interactive Games and Media.
“Tona Henderson brings prior administrative experience, as well as a strong focus on student retention and achievement, to the position,” says Andrew Sears, dean of RIT’s B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences. “In addition, her interest in increasing the number of women pursuing computing-oriented careers is a great asset as we ramp up new initiatives in this area.”
“It’s fitting that throughout my career I have always subscribed to the words of Benjamin Franklin, ‘We do not stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing,’” says Henderson.
