More than 3,000 students are expected to take part in RIT’s annual Fall Career Fair on Sept. 25.

Employers from 250 companies will visit Rochester Institute of Technology on Wednesday, Sept. 25, to scout thousands of talented RIT students and alumni for full-time employment and co-op positions.

The Fall Career Fair, which will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Gordon Field House, has reached full capacity once again. With more employers interested than the Gordon Field House can accommodate, there is a waiting list of more than 15 companies.

According to Manny Contomanolis, associate vice president and director of the Office of Co-op and Career Services, this fall’s career fair promises to be a great event with many large companies expected to attend.

“We are really excited for this year’s fall career fair,” says Contomanolis. “With more companies interested than we have space for, it is a testament to the talent of RIT students and alumni.”

Apple, Google, Microsoft and Facebook are just a few of the companies that will be in attendance. Around 50 companies from the greater Rochester area will also be there.

The fair is open to RIT students and alumni only. About 3,000 students and 200 alumni are expected to attend. Selected candidates will return to the Field House on Sept. 26 for Interview Day.
