The “Prosthetics to Special Effects: Life-Mask Creation” exhibit was just one of the top attractions at Imagine RIT: Creativity and Innovation Festival on May 3. RIT medical illustration students demonstrated how to make impressions that can be used for facial prosthetics, articifial eyes or special effects. Under all that goop is Kelly Redder, RIT’s assistant vice president for alumni relations, who gets fitted for her own “life mask.”
