Saunders College of Business at Rochester Institute of Technology has been named by USA Today as one of the top 10 colleges for a degree in management information systems (MIS).

The MIS program is the most popular business major at RIT and was noted for excellence in career-relevant instruction, contemporary resources and access to world-class employers.

“We are excited to see our programs continue to garner exceptional rankings,” said Saunders College Dean Jacqueline Mozrall. “Our management information systems program has grown exponentially as organizations have realized the importance of integrating their business and technology needs. Our unique learning experiences created through our courses and co-op program equip our graduates with the highly sought-after skills needed in leading companies across the U.S.—including Intuit, LinkedIn, Tesla, Apple, Ernst & Young and Wegmans, to name a few.”

Victor Perotti, Saunders College department chair and professor of MIS, marketing and digital business, said it was an honor to be listed among the nation’s top MIS programs by USA Today.

“Our students’ success in achieving great career outcomes has always been the primary focus,” said Perotti. “To achieve this result, a talented and motivated community of MIS faculty, staff, alumni, current students, advisers and employers have demonstrated the power of collaboration. Saunders College of Business represents a unique environment at the intersection of business and technology where great programs like MIS can flourish.”
