The fourth Effective Access Technology Conference will be held at RIT’s Gene Polisseni Center on April 21. The event showcases the work, research and development that has been carried out by the university’s students and faculty to enhance accessibility for individuals across a wide range of challenges. ThermApparel, pictured here, was one of the featured exhibits at the last Effective Access Technology Conference. ThermApparel is a lower cost, discreet, flexible garment that assists patients with multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, cerebral palsy or other conditions by regulating body temperature in hot weather.
