– more than 800 lines of code.
– approximately 60 hours of planning, designing, and writing code.
– several kittens viewed at www.cuteoverload.com
…back to work, all. Wish me luck.
So that works out to approximately 13.3 lines of code per hour...is that good LPH? (lines per hour) Or 0.22 lines per minute.
Well, considering that with every 2-15 lines I write, I have to test & debug, sometimes (and often) triggering an epidemic of rewriting...blah.
Oh, also, I'd say about 30 hours of that is planning (web task force meetings, write-ups, database design, professorial meetings, research, downloading kitten photos).
I wont lie. I am impressed. the company i am at now has a whole development TEAM! I test everything so they dont have to. If they had to test their own stuff...then debug, then test again..then write more...man. you are a trooper. keep your eyes on the kittens and breathe. it's really coming along i think.
I don't know but I've been told, lookin' at kitties don't ever grow old.
i just sent my entire office to that cute website.
I was just kidding about the LPH. ;) I know it's more than just tapping out some code and hoping for the best. Yeay for testers like Becca. It's always much more fun to be the one to break stuff (i mean, test) when you don't have to be the one to fix it.
Sorry yea. I was just put in a defensive mood on Friday.
