Late-breaking news is great for RIT Inside N&E

Exciting news will be revealed when the Jan. 25 issue of News & Events hits the stands. I can’t give it away here and now, of course, but this was one of those times when a last-minute redesign of page one was truly welcomed. In addition to this announcement being great for RIT’s presence in the media, it’s also great for RIT’s News & Events, which frankly, was a tad light on exciting news in this issue.

However, as a result of the inclusion of this story, another story needed to be held. Unfortunately, the folks at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (formerly the Athenaeum) drew the short straw. Sometimes I wish we could just add an insert whenever the need arises because the number of stories generated at RIT is greatly disproportionate to the number of pages in a News & Events issue. But, that’s not the way it works, and a few stories always get bumped to the following issue. So, look for the OLLI story about a stained-glass creation on display to run in the Feb. 8 issue.

Enjoy the news!
