‘Big Shot’ update from ACMT’s Irena Radojkovic Events, Photography

Today, an update from Irena Radojkovic, marketing and college relations manager for the American College of Management and Technology and an ACMT alumna:

Hello to everyone at RIT from everyone at ACMT! :)

As I can see, Kelly has been really detailed with her reports from the Big Shot site, our famous Dubrovnik. Anyhow, I have some additional updates, for those who are interested in the response and the media interest for this huge event.

This morning, while the crew was setting up the scaffolding for the cameras, the representatives of the Croatian National Television—the biggest TV station in Croatia—came to do interview and to shoot the preparations. Sandra Dicak, the reporter, interviewed Mr. Michael Peres, Mr. Bill DuBois and Mr. Don Hudspeth, who talked about the Big Shot event, how it came to Crotia, how it is going to be done, etc. This coverage will be aired today at 6:00 p.m. The same crew will shoot the event tonight and that story will be aired tomorrow, April 13, as a part of the central news at noon.

We will deliver the final photo to the Croatian National Television in the morning to be included in the news. This is actually a great media exposure in terms of national coverage—we couldn’t have done it better because this national TV station is the most respected and the most viewed throughout our country. Of course, we will most probably have some other TV stations tonight, as well, but Kelly and I will keep you posted about this.

Best regards from sunny Dubrovnik, I wish all of you can be here . . . maybe next time :) :)

WOW--that is an amazing media placement with the biggest TV station in Croatia--congratulations! I know just how hard that is to do--so hats off to you all on your hard work.

Can't wait to see the photo--enjoy the sunshine and warmth! It is dreary, rainy and cold here in lovely upstate NY. :)

This is great news about the TV coverage in Croatia. We are looking forward to the coverage on the local Rochester TV stations this evening as well. I am so happy for your sunshine. We had all of the bad weather delivered to Rochester today; it is raining with a forecast for possible snow on Sunday and Monday. All of you are doing a fantastic job with the preparations. Best wishes for a great event this evening!
