Although I will be relaxing on a beach at the time that you’re all reading this April 17 issue of News & Events (either that or hopelessly chasing my two crazy kids around The Magic Kingdom), I can assure you that News & Events will arrive in your mailboxes filled with lots of interesting news.
Page one is packed with headlines including a significant multi-million dollar grant for the Golisano Institute for Sustainability, a preview of the High Falls Film Festival, the announcement of this year’s Convocation speaker and a profile of one of our outstanding Liberal Arts students. Yeah, that’s just on page one.
Unfortunately, we only have four pages to work with and there are about 10 great stories that didn’t make it into the issue this time around.
Special thanks to my associate, Mike Saffran, for putting the issue “to bed” without complaint.
Our next issue, May 1, will be a special double issue with a pull-out section featuring the Imagine RIT: Innovation and Creativity Festival.
