RIT shines in Hawaii, Times Square, Mexico Photography

While some of us were stuck in good ol’ Rochester during Spring Break, RIT students enjoyed some R&R all over the world.
And they took us with them during the Spring Break Facebook Photo Challenge.

Yerbol Yembergenov claimed the top prize with a series of photos from Hanauma Bay, Oahu, Hawaii. Throw on those flippers!

Winning Spring Break Photo

Another creative photo during spring break was taken by Sean Trimby in Times Square.

And here is a great shot by Kilby Kling in Mexico.

It was a great effort by all who participated in the past few weeks in all of the photo challenges. We now have nearly 300 fan photos posted on the site.
Here is a recap of the other winning entries:
Week 1: Marshall Watson’s “Greek Row.”

Week 2: Mark Marcello with his “Pink Boom Lift.”

In Week 2, we also recognized Jonathan Foster, who submitted two photos that made the top three: “Infiniti Quad Gauntlet” and “The Tiger Watches”

While the contest is over for now, keep the photos coming and get your friends to become fans of RIT. Stay tuned as we come up with another contest soon. Maybe something to do with video?
