Remember
the Alamo
The School of Photographic
Arts and Sciences is providing a unique focus on one of our
nation's most recognized and revered landmarks. On March 10,
2001, members of the RIT community will gather at the Alamo
in San Antonio, Texas for the 16th Big Shot, and you're invited!
This
is the first time the Big Shot ventures outside of New York.
As in previous years, volunteers will help light up the night,
producing a remarkable photographic experience. You may recall
last year's Big Shot photo of the aircraft carrier Intrepid
on the cover of the spring 2000 issue of The University Magazine
Project coordinators
William DuBois and Michael Peres extend an invitation to join
them at the Alamo to participate in this memorable event. For
more information, call Donna Sterlace at (716) 475-2863, or
e-mail her at dms2344@rit.edu.
Leading up to San
Antonio, everyone also is welcome at another Big Shot on Dec.
2, marking the annual lighting of the Liberty Pole in downtown
Rochester. An alumni reception will follow at the Hyatt Regency
hotel. For details on that, call Alumni Relations, (716) 475-2586,
or e-mail ritalum@rit.edu.
