| POMP AND
CIRCUMSTANCE: Approximately 3,500 undergraduate and
graduate students received degrees during RIT’s 118th
annual commencement events. U.S. Sen. Charles E. Schumer (D
– N.Y.) gave the keynote address at convocation ceremonies
attended by more than 6,000 graduates, families, friends,
faculty and staff on May 23. RIT’s eight colleges each
held ceremonies the following day. Above: President Albert
