The Hotel Rochester,
once upon a time a dormitory for RIT students, was demolished early
in the morning on Saturday, Dec. 18. The implosion was a big story
on a slow news day for local media, and brought memories to the
fore for RIT alumni who attended the Institute when the pastoral
Henrietta campus was still a dream.
