Thanks to all of our
alumni who joined across the country to show their support for
our troops and honor our fallen heroes. Alumni volunteered with
the following organizations across the country:
Albany
Habitat for Humanity, Atlanta Community Food Bank,
Product Rescue Center. Central Florida Ronald McDonald
House. New York City Walk for Prostate Cancer Awareness.
Raleigh Durham Meals on Wheels, Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Rochester Foodlink. San Diego Hands
on San Diego. San Francisco Starr King Park. Syracuse
Salvation Army. Washington, D.C. Ribbon distribution
at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and the Baltimore Orioles game.
Atlanta
Upcoming events:
Tuesday,
Dec. 9: Holiday gathering. Join fellow alumni and friends
from 7-9 p.m. at Daileys Restaurant in downtown Atlanta.
Alumni will gather for hors doeuvres and a cash bar. Tickets
are $10 per person.
Saturday,
March 6: CNN studio tour and lunch. See the inside story of
this global news operation. Enjoy lunch at 11 a.m. at one of the
restaurants in the CNN building followed by a tour at 1 p.m. Bring
the kids and enjoy a great family event. Package price for lunch
and tour is $15; family of four, $45. CNN tour adult price is
$9; childrens price (ages 6-12) is $7.
Boston
Many exciting events
for alumni are being planned including the traditional sporting
outings. New event opportunities for the year include special
alumni-priced tickets to the Vienna Boys Choir, the local
performance by the National Theatre for the Deaf, and the Boston
Pops! To stay posted on the status of events and to order your

Buffalo
Buffalo alumni joined
Rochester alumni for a relaxing day at Niagara-on-the-Lake. Alumni
met for a lunch at Pillar and Post and then attended a play or
enjoyed time for shopping! Thank you to Tom Stumpf 89
for his help in coordinating this great getaway.

Sunday,
Dec. 7: Buffalo Bills vs. New York Jets. Join alumni and friends
for 2 p.m. pre-game reception with lunch in the Touch Down Club.
Game time is 4:15 p.m. Tickets are limited so call today. Package
price: $55.
Saturday,
April 24: Museum Day. Enjoy a memorable day taking in three
of Buffalos well-known museums and lunch. Call for details.
Central Florida
Alumni gathered for
a boat cruise chartered by the Tampa Bay Aquarium on Aug. 19.
A relaxing evening was had by all. Thank you to Bob 66
and Mary-Dianne 65 Roperti for hosting this event.

March 13: Networking Lunch at Emerils Restaurant in Orlando.
Enjoy lunch at Emerils restaurant in the Chefs Wine
Room with its oak barrel ceiling, surrounded by vintage
wine in a working wine cellar. Alumni and friends will enjoy a
three-course lunch for a special rate of $40 per person. Seats
are limited so call today.

Tuesday, Jan. 13: New Years Networking Night.
Kick off the New Year with
fellow alumni and friends at the original Cheesecake Factory in
Beverly Hills. Alumni will enjoy dinner, dessert and fun from
6-8 p.m. Price is $20 per person.
New York City

Tuesday,
Feb. 10, 2004: A Night With John Williams. Come listen to
Williams lead the New York Philharmonic in his famous film scores
from the movies ET, Star Wars, Harry Potter, and more. One night
performance only. Tickets are limited and available for the special
alumni rate of $70 each.
Thursday,
May 13, 2004: Dinner Cruise Around New York City. Enjoy a
night on the water, dinner, and dancing! Alumni Hosts: Jennifer
Rhodes 96, Maria Sebastian 98. Reserve
your place for only $50 a person (includes admission, dinner and
entertainment).

Alumni and friends
enjoyed touring QVC Studio Park on Tuesday, Sept. 16. A highlight
of the private tour included viewing the broadcasting area of
the $4.3 billion electronic retailer. Following the tour, a reception
was held for alumni and friends. Alumni Host: Melissa Scrimo

Tickets to the Elsa
Schiaparelli exhibit at the Philadelphia Museum of Art for Oct.
25 were offered at a special alumni rate.
A networking night
for alumni was held at the Ritz-Carlton, Philadelphia, on Thursday,
Nov. 13. Alumni Host: Paul Brown 84

Phoenix
Upcoming event:
Saturday,
Jan. 10: South Mountain Hike. Join fellow alumni and friends
for a scenic hike at South Mountain starting at 10 a.m. The hike
is a 2.2 mile loop with a 280-foot elevation gain. A picnic lunch
will allow alumni to continue networking after the hike. Hike
is free of cost. Call today for your reservations.
Pittsburgh

alumni gathered for a night of networking and socializing on Oct.
2 at the restaurant Asiago.
Raleigh-Durham
Upcoming events:
Saturday,
Jan. 24: Duke Womens Basketball vs. Tennessee and lunch.
The Raleigh-Durham chapter has made special arrangements for a
group of alumni and friends to attend the sold-out womens
basketball game between Duke and Tennessee, a rematch of their
hard-fought 2003 Womens Final Four Game. Alumni and friends
will gather at 3 p.m. at Bennett Pointe Grill for lunch. A bus
to the Duke campus will depart the restaurant around 4:30 p.m.,
giving you time to tour the Hall of Fame prior to the 6 p.m. game.
Dont miss out on this event! Package price for lunch and

Rochester
A great Rochester Alumni
Chapter meeting was held on Thursday, Sept. 18. Alumni toured
the Center for Integrated Manufacturing Studies at RIT and enjoyed
lunch. Rochester alumni volunteers gathered again on Thursday,
Nov. 13, to work on the 2004 schedule of activities. To voice
your opinion, vote online through the Web site. Chapter leader:

Rochester and Buffalo
alumni and friends gathered for a day trip to Niagara-on-the Lake
on Sept. 13. The areas many attractions were enjoyed including
theater, shops, wineries, and more. Alumni Hosts: Alina Palis
77 and Tom Stumpf 89.
A Dec. 5 weekend trip
to New York City for local alumni is in the works. They will attend
a show at Radio City Music Hall along with experiencing the many
other fun holiday offerings of the city. (See page 26.)

South Florida
Upcoming events:
Thursday,
Dec. 11: Networking Night. Join fellow alumni and friends
for a networking night from 7-9 pm with hors doeuvres at
Wilt Chamberlains restaurant in BocaRaton. Price is $10
per person.
Saturday,
March 20: Florida Panthers vs. Buffalo Sabers and pre-game reception.
Join fellow alumni as the Panthers take on the Sabers. Great lower-level
seats have been secured. A reception with appetizers begins at
6 p.m. followed by a 7:30 p.m. game. Package price is $30 per
person.
Syracuse

Syracuse alumni enjoyed
a brunch cruise on the Erie Canal in August. Alumni plan to do
this event again next summer in Skaneateles.
Alumni also attended
the SU vs. West Virginia game on Nov. 22. There are plans to attend
an SU basketball game in February. Continue to check the Web site
for further details on this event. Thank you to chapter leader
Cindy Weller 99 for her coordination of these events.
Texas

D.C., Alumni Chapter Leader Vicki Decker '93 distributing
ribbons at the Orioles game on Sept. 17 in honor of those
who serve and protect our country. |
Alumni activities took
place over the week of Nov. 3 in Texas. Starting in Houston, alumni
gathered on Tuesday for a mystery night at Dave & Busters,
and the following night a networking evening at Chuys was
held for alumni in San Antonio. Austin alums enjoyed Thursday
evening together, and on Saturday Dallas-Forth Worth alumni toured
Texas Stadium (home of the Dallas Cowboys). Alumni Hosts: Vivek
Khosla 94 and Scott Saldinger 91.
Washington, D.C.
Plans are underway
for a special tour of Mount Vernon. Watch for details on the Web
