“Miracle on Ice” Olympian Jim Craig Visits RIT/NTID Oct. 3

Motivational speaker and former member of the "Miracle on Ice" 1980 U.S. Olympic Hockey Team, Jim Craig, will be at RIT/NTID on Friday, Oct. 3 for a variety of activities with students, athletes and the general public. Craig, who gained notarity during the 1980 Olympics as the goalie for Team USA during their "miracle" gold medal run, now is a motivational speaker and author of the book "Gold Medal Strategies: Business Strategies from America's Gold Medal Team"

Craig will be the guest at a breakfast for RIT student athletes, and then will present at a VIP luncheon on campus. Tickets for the lunch are $75 each, or a table for eight for $500. Proceeds will benefit the NTID Foundation Endowed Scholarship Fund. 

From 4-5:30 p.m., Craig will deliver a lecture and hold a book signing at NTID's Panara Theatre. The lecture is free and open to the public. Books will be available for purchase at the event.
