Jennifer is a 1991 graduate of the Joint Education Specialist Program (now known as NTID’s MSSE Program) where she received her MS in Deaf Education. Jen has worked in several Deaf Education positions since that time, most recently as Outreach Director at a school for the Deaf. In her current role as Associate Director of CERP, Jen will focus on the more qualitative aspects of the research being done at CERP and will also join in the fun of the other research projects currently underway. Jen is enrolled in the Educational Leadership doctoral program at the University of Rochester and intends to finish her dissertation by the end of Spring 2012. Jen’s research interests include: topics pertaining to formative assessment and its cognitive implications for DHH students, the impact of leadership on special education, and enjoining teachers to implement findings from research.
