Welcome to EDR!

Our mission is to support teaching and learning at NTID. We do this by creating a variety of projects with our faculty and staff partners. We create video, websites, and learning tools of all kinds, including mobile apps and "serious" games. We also house research of interest to the NTID community, equipment that you can borrow, and training services. If you have an idea for a project, we encourage you to stop in and discuss it with us.

What's NEW in the ETRR

February, 2012

The ETRR (Educational Technology Resource Room) has up-to-date, state-of-the-art, Mac and PC computers for all of NTID faculty and staff to use at their leisure. Whether you are looking for a quiet place to do work, or you have questions about software programs, we are here to help out!

The ETRR library has great new titles that may be of interest to you for leisure or professional reading. Here are a few examples:

  • Deaf Culture Our Way 4th edition 2011
  • My ASL Book 2011
  • If You Could Hear My Own Tune 2011 (DVD)
  • Visions: Accounts from Deaf Women in Leadership 2010
  • We Are the Same, but Different; Navigating African American and Deaf Cultural Identities 2010
  • Supporting Deaf Students’ Development of English Spelling Skills: Creating ASL Fingerspelling Stories 2010
  • Literacy and Deafness: Listening and Spoken Language 2009
