Primary research interest is in applications of automatic speech recognition for deaf students (K-College) in the mainstream classroom. General interest in support services for mainstreamed deaf students. Engaged in last year of followup of oral, non-signing deaf students and signing cohorts who entered NTID in 1991. Currently chairing national task force on standards in support services for deaf and hard-of-hearing students in college.
